Step 2.1 – Login to your PayPal account<\/h2>\n

PayPal supplies three types of accounts – Personal<\/strong>, Premier <\/strong>and Business<\/strong>. The plugin cannot work with personal accounts so you may need to upgrade to a premier or business account.<\/p>\n

To check this, after logging in, go to My Account tab. The type of your account is shown underneath the welcome message. See below :

Step 2.2 – Find The API Information<\/h2>\n

PayPal is rolling out a new version of its interface. When you log in you may be still seeing the old interface or you might be seeing the new interface.<\/p>\n

Either way, you need to get to your profile.<\/p>\n

Old Interface<\/h3>\n

If you still have the old interface<\/strong>, after you log in you will see a page like this<\/strong> :<\/p>\n

Do the following if you have the old<\/span> interface :<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. From the My Account screen, click on Profile<\/span> link, in the horizontal menu just under the My Account tab.<\/li>\n
  2. In the third column, under the heading Selling Preferences, click on Instant Payment Notification Preferences<\/span> link<\/li>\n
  3. Enable IPNs and set the Notification URL to be http:\/\/your-domain<\/em>\/wp-content\/plugins\/subscriptionboss\/subb-ipn.php where your-domain<\/em> is the site where you have installed the SubscriptionBoss plugin<\/li>\n
  4. Save the settings<\/li>\n
  5. Then back on the Profile page, In the first column, under the heading Account Information, click on API Access<\/span> link<\/li>\n
  6. Within the area on the right hand side, called Option 2, click on the View API Signature<\/span> link.<\/li>\n
  7. Copy the API Username, API Password and Signature and paste them somewhere safe so you can recall them.<\/li>\n
  8. Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on the Settings link for the SubscriptionBoss plugin.<\/li>\n
  9. Enter the PayPal API Username, API Password and Signature that you just copied, into the fields called API PayPal Username<\/span>, PayPal API Password<\/span> and PayPal API Signature<\/span> respectively<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    New Interface<\/h3>\n

    Alternatively, if you have the new interface<\/strong>, after you log in you will see a page like this<\/strong> :<\/p>\n
