To find your PayPal API Signature:
- Login to your PayPal business account
- Click On the ‘Profile’ menu item
- Click on ‘Selling Preferences’
- Click Update button on the line with “API Access” which is found under the Account Information
- Choose Option Two to add a signature or if you have a key already click on View Signature
- Copy the API Username, Password and Signature and paste into notepad/textedit
- Login to your WordPress site as Admin and click on SubscriptionBoss settings
- Paste the PayPal API username, password and signature in to appropriate fields
- Save
Can I Use A Certificate Instead Of A Signature?
You can also use a PayPal API Certificate instead of a Signature. This requires a little more work as your need to download the certificate, then FTP is on to your server above the web root and then specify the absolute path of the certificate in SubscriptionBoss settings For example: the path might be /home/myaccount/mycert.pem
