4.1 – Create an Action Set for Your Order
At its simplest this is exactly the same action set you would have called have the buyer paid by credit credit rather than PayPal
Typically the action set will contain some of the following steps:
- Add a tag that identifies the contact as a customer
- Remove a tag that identifies the contact as a prospect
- Send an http post then grants them access to a membership site
- Send them a welcome email with login details
- Add them to the follow-up-sequence that is appropriate for someone buying that product/subscription
Finally note the number of the Action set – this is typically a 3, 4, or 5 digit number.
4.2 – Create a Thank You Page
The thank you page can be located on any website.
Typically the thank you page will contain some of the following steps:
- Confirm that the order is being processed
- Give an expectation of when the product or service will be available
- Provide contact information for the buyer in case of any problems
- Offer an upsell to other services that complement the original product
Finally note the URL of the thank you page – you will save this URL back in SubscriptionBoss.
